The piston is a reciprocating part in the cylinder block of an automobile engine.The basic structure of piston can be divided into top, head and skirt. The top of the piston is the main part of the combustion chamber, its shape is related to the combustion chamber. Flat top piston is widely used in gasoline engine, which has the advantage of small heat absorption area.There are many kinds of pits on the top of the diesel engine piston. The specific shape, position and size of the pits must meet the requirements of the mixture formation and combustion of the diesel engine.

1.The piston works under the conditions of high temperature, high pressure, high speed and poor lubrication.
2.The piston is in direct contact with high temperature gas, and the instantaneous temperature can reach more than 2500K, so it is heated seriously.
3.Because of the poor heat dissipation condition, the temperature of the piston is very high when it is working, the top of the piston is as high as 600-700k, and the temperature distribution is very uneven.
4.The gas pressure on the top of the piston is very large, especially the working stroke pressure is the maximum.
5.The gasoline engine is as high as 3-5mpa, and the diesel engine is as high as 6-9mpa, which makes the piston produce impact and bear the side pressure.
6.The piston moves back and forth in the cylinder at a very high speed, and the speed is constantly changing, which produces a great inertia force and makes the piston subject to a great additional load.
7. When the piston works in such a bad condition, it will deform and accelerate the wear. It will also produce additional load and thermal stress. At the same time, it will suffer from the chemical corrosion of gas.
It is mainly used in hydraulic and pneumatic, engineering machinery, automobile manufacturing piston rod, such as many mechanical processing products and process equipment, are inseparable from its existence. Innovative methods are adopted to ensure the heat resistance, wear resistance, smooth guidance and good sealing function of the piston, reduce the friction loss of the engine, reduce fuel consumption, noise and emissions.
