1, Eccentric reducer is a kind of pipe fitting used in pipe reducing. The commonly used forming process is reducing pressing, expanding pressing or reducing plus expanding pressing.
2, For some sizes of reducer, stamping can also be used. In addition to using stainless steel pipe as raw material to produce stainless steel eccentric reducer, stainless steel plate can also be used to produce some specifications of reducer by stamping process.
3, The shape of the die used for drawing is designed according to the inner surface dimension of the reducer, and the steel plate after blanking is punched and drawn by the die.
4, The reducing forming process of eccentric reducer is to put the tube blank with the same diameter as the large end of the reducer into the forming die.
5, By pressing along the axial direction of the tube blank, the metal moves along the die cavity and shrinks. According to the size of reducer, it can be divided into one-time pressing forming or multiple pressing forming.
6, Eccentric reducer is characterized by its strength significantly higher than that of carbon steel with the same carbon content, better toughness and plasticity, as well as good weldability and corrosion resistance.
7, Expanding forming is to use the tube blank smaller than the big end diameter of the reducing tube, and use the internal punch to expand the diameter along the inner diameter of the tube blank.
8, The expanding process is mainly used to solve the problem that the reducer with large diameter variation is not easy to be formed by reducing.
9, Sometimes, the expanding and reducing methods are combined according to the forming needs of materials and products.
10, In the process of reducing or expanding deformation, according to different materials and reducing conditions, cold or hot pressing is adopted. In general, cold pressing should be used as much as possible.
11, Hot pressing should be used in case of severe work hardening caused by multiple diameter changes, thickness deviation or alloy steel materials.
12, The bottom flat concentric reducer should be used when transporting solid-liquid mixed liquid, which is mainly used in vertical pipes.
13, Eccentric reducer is mainly used in horizontal pipes. The top or bottom of the reducer depends on whether the gas or liquid is transported, mainly to avoid the generation of air bags or liquid sacs.
14, The eccentric reducer is mainly used on the inlet pipe of the pump to prevent cavitation of the pump and make the inlet pipe of the pump free of air pocket.
15, When there is a reducer at the pump inlet, the eccentric reducer shall be used. That is to say, when the elbow is downward, the eccentric reducer is used for flattening.
16, When the elbow is upward and there is no straight pipe section, the eccentric reducer is used for flattening. If there is a straight pipe section between the elbow and reducer, the top flat reducer shall still be used, and the drain port shall be increased at the low point.
