Description

Mar Steel pipe tee is mainly divided into the same diameter tee and reducing tee. The same diameter tee of Mar steel pipe fittings refers to the three Mar Steel tees with the same outlet. Its naming method is named by outlet diameter + tee joint.Mar Steel pipe reducer tee refers to three Mar Steel tees with different outlets, also known as reducer tee.

According to the different sizes of the three outlets, reducing tees are generally divided into three categories: small and medium-sized tees (common reducing tees), medium and large tees and side large tees.The medium and small tee is the one with the opening diameter smaller than the main pipe diameter.

Mar steel pipe tee in the side of the pipe opening diameter larger than the main pipe diameter is called the big tee. Standard requirements

High quality molten iron is the foundation of high quality Mar Steel tee, but good molten iron needs high quality raw materials and good production technology. The monitoring and control in the production process is an essential part. The casting temperature and composition content of molten iron are two major standards to measure the performance of molten iron.

The temperature of molten iron casting for Mar steel elbow is required to be controlled between 1480 and 1520 degrees. Too low temperature will lead to the decrease of the fluidity of molten iron, and then lead to the insufficient filling capacity in the casting, resulting in the problems of insufficient pouring, cold insulation and so on.

However, if the temperature is too high, the total shrinkage will increase, which will easily lead to shrinkage porosity, shrinkage cavity, coarse grain, porosity and other defects. Therefore, to control the temperature of molten iron in a proper range is the premise to ensure the quality of pipe fittings. The temperature of molten iron shall be well controlled, and the temperature of each molten iron shall be measured after furnace and before casting. Ensure the temperature control of molten iron.

Welding method

There are two ways to weld the tee of Mar Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. The first one is to use the electrode with the composition close to the base metal. The weld performance matches the base metal. The weld should have a high thermal strength. The tee weld of Mar Steel is not easy to be damaged in long-term use under high temperature.

The difficulty is that the post weld heat treatment is relatively strict, and the improper control of tempering temperature, holding time and heating and cooling speed will lead to the degradation of weld performance.The second is to use austenitic stainless steel electrode for welding.

Post weld heat treatment can be omitted.due to the different expansion coefficient between the three-way weld and the base metal of Mar Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., carbon diffusion and migration may occur during long-term high-temperature operation.It is easy to cause weld damage in the fusion zone.It is possible to adopt two welding schemes for the welding of large diameter thick wall Mar Steel tee. In order to ensure that the weld performance matches the base metal and has high thermal strength, the first scheme is recommended for better results.
