The cap head is a pipe fitting welded on the pipe end or installed on the external thread of the pipe end to cap the pipe. It is used to close the pipeline and has the same function as the pipe plug.
1. Raw materials shall meet the requirements of relevant standards or technical specifications.
2. The surface of raw materials shall be free of oil stain, excessive rust corrosion, obvious dent defects, low melting point metal pollution, etc.
3. Check the quality certificate, heat number, batch number, specification, manufacturer and executive standard of raw materials.
4. Raw materials are mechanically derusted with wire brush to meet the requirements of NDT.
5. Carry out dimension inspection for raw materials (length, width, thickness and flatness of steel plate).
6. After entering the plant, the steel plate shall be subject to ultrasonic re inspection.
7. Physical and chemical testing: chemical element analysis, mechanical property and hardness test shall be carried out for the steel plate entering the plant according to the batch number and specification of the furnace.
8. The test results shall meet the requirements of the raw material standard.
9. Number and register in the register according to the factory regulations after re inspection.
1. Material selection and blanking, select appropriate steel plate for pipe cap, and clearly mark the furnace, batch number, pipe fitting specification, project name and number of raw materials.
2. The pipe cap is pressed and formed.
3. Heat treatment: put the pipe cap into the furnace for heat treatment according to the heat treatment process.
4. Surface treatment: after heat treatment, the pipe cap shall be removed with sand blasting machine or polishing machine.
5. Mechanical property test: according to relevant standards, conduct mechanical property test on the pipe cap to ensure that the mechanical property of the pipe cap reaches the standard.
6. End machining: machining groove of mechanical end face according to design confirmation drawing.
7. Appearance inspection: the pipe cap shall be free of cracks, overburning, overheating and other phenomena, and any defects on the pipe body of the pipe cap shall not be repaired by welding.
8. Non destructive testing of hot pressed pipe cap: after heat treatment of the pipe cap, conduct magnetic particle or penetration non-destructive testing on the pipe cap according to the standard requirements.
9. Pickling and passivation treatment: stainless steel pipe fittings shall be pickling and passivation treatment.
