Description

   The cross is a pipe fitting and pipe connector. It is used at the branch pipe of the main pipeline.  The four-way pipe can be divided into equal diameter and reducing diameter. The nozzle ends of the equal diameter four-way pipe are the same size. 

The main nozzle size of the reducing four-way pipe is the same, and the nozzle size of the branch pipe is smaller than that of the main pipe.

The hydraulic bulging of four-way pipe is a kind of forming process of expanding branch pipe by axial compensation of metal material.

   A special hydraulic press is used to inject liquid into the tube blank and extrude the tube blank. After the tube blank is extruded, the volume becomes smaller and the pressure increases.  The metal material flows along the inner cavity of the die and expands the branch pipe and forms.

The hot forming of four-way is to flatten the tube blank to the size of four-way diameter, and open a hole in the branch pipe.

 After heating, the tube blank is put into the forming die, and the die for drawing the branch pipe is installed in the tube blank.

1.Under the effect of pressure, the tube blank is compressed radially, and in the process of radial compression, the metal flows to the branch pipe direction and forms the branch pipe under the stretch of the die.

2.  Socket welding cross has the advantages of low piping accuracy, firm connection, strong pressure resistance, good sealing, convenient installation and maintenance, safe and reliable work, etc.

3.  However, the inner wall is often corroded, so it should be inspected and treated well to ensure that the socket welding cross has good application characteristics and value.

4. Stainless steel cross is a pipe fitting made of steel by hot pressing or forging. Its connection form is to directly butt weld the cross with the steel pipe.

5.  The main manufacturing standards of butt welded cross are generally GB / t12459, GB / T13401, ASME b16.9, sh3408, sh3409, Hg / t21635, Hg / t21631, SY / t0510.

6.  When quoting the price of stainless steel cross, it is necessary to accurately inform the pipe pressure used, or directly inform the elbow wall thickness, so as to quote the accurate price.
