Neck butt welding flange and neck flat welding flange refer to the welding method when connecting flange and pipeline. When welding neck flat welding flange, only one side welding is required, and the inner opening of pipeline and flange connection does not need to be welded. The welding and installation of neck butt welding flange requires flange double-sided welding.
The neck flat welding flange is generally used for low and medium pressure pipelines, and the neck butt welding flange is used for the connection of medium and high pressure pipelines. Flanges with neck butt welding are generally at least pN2. 5MPa, butt welding is used to reduce stress concentration.
The neck butt welding flange is suitable for pipelines with large fluctuation of pressure or temperature or pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature. It is also used for pipelines conveying expensive, flammable and explosive media. The neck butt welding flange is not easy to deform, has good sealing and is widely used.
