Description

Butt welding flange, also known as high neck flange, is a kind of pipe fitting, which refers to the flange with neck and pipe transition and butt welding connection with pipe. Butt welding flange is not easy to deform, well sealed, and widely used. It is suitable for pipeline with large fluctuation of pressure or temperature or high temperature, high pressure and low temperature. The price is relatively cheap, and the nominal pressure is not more than 2.5MPa; It is also used for transporting expensive, inflammable and explosive media. The nominal pressure is about pn16mpa.

Characteristic

Installation sequence of butt welding flange:

1. First of all, before joining the butt welding flange, the internal and external sides of the connected stainless steel pipe fittings should be sorted out.

2. The flange plates with groove ring are respectively installed on the pipes to be connected.

3. Insert O-shaped rubber sealing ring and stainless steel sealing ring installed on both sides in the flange plate with groove ring. The inner diameter of the sealing ring is the same as that of the pipe.

4. Then connect the flange holes with bolts, and tighten the bolt assembly symmetrically.

5. When tightening the butt welding flange, attention should be paid to make the sealing of each joint reach the required specification.
