The two ends of reducer have different diameters, which are used to connect pipes or flanges with different diameters for reducing. The orifices at both ends of the concentric reducer are on the same axis. When reducing, if the position of the pipe is calculated by the axis, the position of the pipe will not change. It is generally used for reducing of gas or vertical liquid pipe.
The energy-saving and emission reduction effect of the reducer is more significant. The light and heat efficiency of the whole water heater can reach about 73% by adopting the reducer dense drainage technology, which not only saves power and coal, but also reduces carbon dioxide emissions. Both ends of the eccentric reducer are circumferentially cut, which is generally used for horizontal liquid pipeline.
The selection of reducer can be based on the actual flow of the pipeline to select the corresponding caliber specification, and try to select the reducer with the same caliber specification as the process pipeline. Concentric reducer is beneficial to the flow of fluid, and it has less interference to the flow state when changing the diameter.

The forming methods of concentric reducer include reducing / expanding forming and stamping forming.
The process of reducing / expanding is to put the tube blank with the same diameter as the big end of the reducing tube into the forming die.
By pressing along the axial direction of the tube blank, the metal moves along the die cavity and shrinks.
According to the size of reducer, it can be divided into one-time pressing forming or multiple pressing forming.
